I recently asked someone if they could ever switch to drinking plant milk rather than full fat cow milk because of their health issues. With a bitter expression on their face, Their response was, " I don't think I would like it."
I don't know why, but I still get completely shocked when people openly express that they "don't like something" even when they haven't even tried it.
So when situations like this happens, I try to think back to when I had a carnivores palate. However, when I do I remember that I was always open to trying new things. Especially food! I know not everyone is the same, but this leaves me to wonder about what keeps people from exploring something that could save their lives when it's so harmless, natural and pain free.
There's even foods that I wish I could get along with but for whatever reason just can't enjoy the taste. Regardless of the reason I wouldn't like it, I still try it.
I think things like, "maybe the creative chakra (the sacral chakra) could be a factor." Maybe some people think that it would taste nasty or "like dirt" as some people say, without even considering the possibility of creating it the way they would like it. For instance with almond milk you could add dates, cinnamon, agave, or another spice of your choosing to bring the flavor you'd like in your milk. And if you don't want a sweet milk, simply have it unsweetned.
So you have to think, if you could recreate your plant milk to make it taste appetizing, couldn't you do this with any other plant food? I'm really interested in what you think so feel free togive your input below.
Blessings.
